We Shall Overcome
Released in 1964, More Big Folk Hits is a great snapshot of the folk revival that was happening at the time. The Brothers Four take on a mix of songs that had become popular through artists like Bob Dylan and other folk singers, alongside older traditional and folk-inspired numbers.
There are quite a few familiar ones here, from Puff the Magic Dragon and Where Have All the Flowers Gone to Don't Think Twice, It's All Right and We Shall Overcome. It has that very recognisable early 60s folk sound, with the close harmonies and acoustic arrangements that made The Brothers Four so popular.
The record is in excellent condition. Not mint, but very well kept and ready to play.
