About the record
Scenes & Themes is Hugo Montenegro's take on some of cinema's most memorable themes, bringing together music from films including Doctor Zhivago, Love Story, Gone with the Wind, Alfie and Romeo and Juliet.
The arrangements have Montenegro's distinctive cinematic and easy-listening sound, moving between lush orchestration, jazz influences and the polished studio experimentation that made his records so recognisable during this period.
With ten famous film themes packed onto one LP, this is a lovely record for collectors of vintage soundtracks, orchestral music and 1970s easy listening.
Condition: Excellent. Not mint, but very well kept and ready to play.
