A beautiful piece of classic Hindi film music from Mother India, one of the most important films of the golden era of Bollywood. Naushad's music works perfectly with Shakeel Badayuni's lyrics, bringing together some of the most recognisable voices of the period.

The album has Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi alongside Shamshad Begum, Manna Dey, Asha Bhosle and the Mangeshkar sisters. From the warmth of O Mere Lal Aaja to the lively O Gadiwale and Matwala Jiya, there is a great variety across both sides.

A particularly nice LP for collectors of vintage Bollywood records, Naushad, Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi. This is the classic 3AEX 5001 pressing, originally manufactured in India by The Gramophone Company of India.

The record is in excellent condition. Not mint, but very well kept and ready to play.
